    outdoor dining area
    cozy cabin
    responsive management
    limited restaurant hours
    finding dining options

The Muddy Moose is a cozy gem nestled in Vermont! The outdoor dining area is perfect for enjoying local brews and the view of the mountains. The cabin had a homey feel, and the management was super responsive, making our stay even smoother.

While it was a bit tricky finding local restaurants that were open during off-hours, it forced us to connect more with the scene. Even that couldn't dim the shine.

    spacious cabin
    local hiking trails
    full kitchen
    limited dining options

We loved kayaking and hitting the local hiking trails. it was a perfect escape. The cabin was spacious and super clean, and we appreciated having a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. The location is ideal for exploring the area and enjoying outdoor activities. Can’t wait for our next trip!

One downside was the limited dining options nearby. We had to drive a bit to find good meals.

    serene lake
    stunning views
    well-equipped kitchen
    limited outdoor activities

We had an amazing stay at this cozy place! Our kids loved kayaking on the serene lake, while we enjoyed the stunning views from the deck after dinner. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, making family meals a delight.

My kids wished there were more outdoor activities for younger ones.

    stunning cabin
    beautiful atmosphere
    lack of air conditioning
    close proximity to neighbors
    extra charges

The cabin was stunning inside, providing a beautiful atmosphere for our family getaway. However, there was no air conditioning, which made the heat intolerable during the day. Privacy was lacking due to close proximity to neighboring cabins, and additional charges for firewood felt off-putting. With radiant floor heating as the only option, it left us wondering how comfortable stays would be in colder months.

    accessible hiking
    missing ceiling fans

The cabin was immaculate and beautifully decorated, making it a perfect haven. The radiant heat floors kept us cozy, and the ample hiking trails were easily accessible, making for enjoyable outdoor excursions.

Request for ceiling fans in the cabin for comfort.

    beautiful cabins
    caring hosts
    lack of air conditioning
    close cabins

The cabins are beautiful and the hosts, Chuck and Christine, truly care about your comfort. However, the lack of air conditioning made the daytime a bit uncomfortable, and cabins are closer than I expected, with neighbors visible. Overall, a lovely setting with room for improvement.
